How can health tracking evolve from cold metrics into an emotionally engaging experience that helps people build and maintain healthy habits?
Aixa is a health-focused digital ecosystem built around a virtual companion that evolves according to the user’s habits.
Instead of presenting health data as static and impersonal metrics, Aixa translates behavioural patterns into visible emotional feedback through a responsive virtual character. By combining gamification, personalisation and AI-driven interaction, the platform strengthens engagement and long-term habit formation.
CONCEPT
Aixa is inspired by the logic of a Tamagotchi — a virtual being that depends on your actions.
The name derives from Aisha, meaning “life”, adapted to Aixa to localise and soften the tone. The project centres on the idea that caring for your health can feel like caring for something alive.
The virtual companion has a neutral, soft, slime-like appearance, designed to feel inclusive and emotionally approachable. It reflects the user’s behaviour visually:
- Lack of sleep → tired expression
- Low hydration → dehydrated state
- Sedentary behaviour → weight gain
- Excess effort → visible fatigue
- Balanced habits → energetic and healthy appearance
The character becomes a mirror of the user’s lifestyle, transforming invisible metrics into tangible emotional feedback.
MOBILE APP
The central hub for habit tracking and interaction. Users can:
- Monitor steps, hydration and sleep
- Track oxygen levels, heart rate and menstrual cycle
- Chat with the AI-powered companion
- Complete daily, weekly and seasonal missions
- Earn coins and unlock rewards
- Customise their mascot and its living space
- Connect with friends and compare progress
APPLE WATCH
A real-time companion that provides:
- Quick access to metrics
- Health notifications
- Habit tracking on the go
- Seamless integration with Apple Health data
